There are two different types of typing philosophies. In the Unites states It is customary to pre-collect a 15% gratuity when the monies for the charter are collected. Of course the guests can still tip additional money to the crew if they felt the service was exceptional. The pre-collected crew tip is given to the crew after the charter is finished. With charters out of the United States as In the Caribbean or Europe, tips of 15-20% are not pre-collected and are given directly to the crew in cash when the charter is finished.
